Connected customers

The Retail Directions Platform supports full cross-channel customer service. In addition to traditional eCommerce and bricks & mortar purchases, customers can also buy across channels. They can make a purchase online and collect the stock in-store (Click & Collect).

The software also allows store staff to sell items which are not on hand in the store. When such a sale is made, our POS system automatically requests delivery from the warehouse to the customer’s residence or workplace, in the same way a web order would be fulfilled. This type of service is known as Customer Order Express, Endless Aisle, or Save-the-Sale.

The Platform supports cross-channel fulfillment without the need for multiple systems and the related integration.

Loyalty and promotional offers

Loyalty schemes are an important part of building lasting relationships with customers. The Retail Directions Platform includes fully integrated omni-channel loyalty facilities, supporting a variety of loyalty schemes, with multiple membership levels and flexible membership rules.

All loyalty data is visible at point of sale and to eCommerce in real-time, which means entitlements can be earned and redeemed in any channel. Retail Directions’ loyalty system leverages the powerful omni-channel Promotional Engine that allows the same offers to be available across all channels – digital and physical.

Customer data unity

To be effective, any Customer Management system must have direct access to the combined information about customers and their purchases - within a single database. Our Platform provides a single view of all such data, allowing stores, Head Office and online customers to see and use it. Head Office users can generate qualified customer lists based on customer attributes and their purchase patterns. These lists can then be used to run highly targeted and effective promotional campaigns.
